Hotel Arkaden is a 15-minute drive to Stockholm Arlanda airport, some 9 km away. The hotel does not offer a shuttle service which is a big drawback, but you can reach it by public bus in around 25 minutes. What you lose in distance, you gain in location - it is close to restaurants, grocery stores, and a shopping center, and it's in a quiet residential area. The distance to Stockholm city center is 38 km or about just under an hour by taxi.

The hotel also offers private parking for a daily fee.

The lobby is small and cozy and the winding staircase adds a unique touch.

All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, a fridge, a kettle, a shower and a wardrobe. All rooms have private bathrooms equipped with a bidet, a roll-in shower, and a hairdryer. Some rooms have a pretty city view.

The on-site activities include bowling and billiards.

There is no restaurant at the hotel but the nearby Hamburgerhuset is a 5-minute walk away.

There is no staff on-site, which leads to early check-out (10 AM) and late check-in (4 PM).

All in all, Hotel Arkaden is a simple, clean, and comfortable choice in an excellent location unless you need to be right at the airport.

The hotel was quiet and it was easy to reach both the airport and the center of Stockholm from here. I would say that the staff was very helpful and friendly, and I would definitely choose this hotel again. The apartments were spacious and had everything I needed.
