Meshk Airport Hotel is located a 15-minute drive away from the new Istanbul airport. The hotel organizes private shuttle transfers both ways for an additional fee. Downtown Istanbul is 40 km away or around an hour by taxi. The hotel is near public transport connections.
The rooms are spacious and modern suitable for a short layover stay. All rooms come equipped with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, a fridge, a coffee machine, a shower, free toiletries, and a desk. The shower has excellent water pressure and easily controllable temperature. The rooms are very homely and comfortable but since the hotel is located in a busy area, the sound insulation from outside in some rooms is insufficient.
The common rooms are nicely decorated. There is no restaurant on-site but the area is developing rapidly and there are good options and markets nearby. Food delivery straight to the room is also possible.
The staff is helpful and friendly and will welcome you with complimentary Turkish tea. They can also organize transfers, order food, or help you with directions to Istanbul city center.
