Estrel Berlin is the largest hotel in Germany and adjoined to the Estrel Conference Center, making it a popular spot for business travelers. Located southeast of the city, the hotel is a short drive from Berlin Brandenburg Airport. Historical landmarks such as Checkpoint Charlie can be reached in under 40 minutes using public transport from Sonnenallee S-Bahn station.
All 1125 rooms and suites are decorated in a minimalistic style, neutral colors and have plenty of natural light. Each is equipped with Wi-Fi, a desk, TV, air conditioning, seating area, minibar, safe and hairdryer. Suites are more spacious with a separate living area and sofas, some feature bathtubs and multiple bedrooms. Extra beds and breakfast are available at an additional cost.
Guests have free access to the hotel’s fitness area, Finnish sauna, steam sauna, massage showers, ice fountain and quiet relaxation zone. Estrel has several restaurants onsite. Grill specializes in surf and turf whilst Portofino offers an Italian dining experience. Traditional German dishes are on offer at Estrel Stube, there are two bars and the Waterfront is open for outdoor dining during the warmer months.
As well as the conference center, Estrel Show Theater hosts a busy calendar of live entertainment throughout the year.
