The Best Western Plus Airport Hotel Copenhagen is well-located near Copenhagen Airport - just 1.5 km from the terminals. It provides a complimentary airport shuttle at any time during the day. It's also very close, a short walk away really, to the Kastrup Metro Station from where you can easily get to Copenhagen's city center in about 20 minutes by train.

The hotel rooms are comfortable and mostly soundproofed. Inside you can find flat-screen TVs and a coffee/tea-making machine and expect good free Wi-Fi. The rooms are somewhat small and dated with visible wear and tear on some of the furniture and the carpets. Some rooms have a bathtub in addition to the shower cabin but it doesn't always meet the expectations.

The breakfast buffet is diverse but only available for an additional charge. On the other hand, the restaurant and bar on the premises have a very limited menu and are overpriced for what they offer. Thankfully, there is a wide array of other options just outside the hotel and a grocery store for the budget-conscious.

There is a gym which is packed with equipment. While some may find that a plus, others have noted it feels cramped and suffocating. Another drawback is that the music from cardio classes penetrates the building until 8 PM.

The hotel's strength is its affordability and proximity to the airport but you shouldn't expect an impeccable experience.

The breakfast is a continental buffet and it is served in the restaurant downstairs of the hotel.

What is the cost of the airport shuttle and how often does it depart?

Regarding transportation from our hotel to the airport, the easiest way is by taking a taxi and the reception can order a taxi for you, it costs approximately 139 DKK. If you choose a bus, there’s a bus stop nearby, but the bus does not go directly to the airport, you have to change to a train after five minutes of bus ride.

We need to eat in the evening, can you recommend a restaurant nearby?

There’s a lovely Danish restaurant nearby which serves meat and fish, but just to inform you the restaurant is closed every Monday. The name of the restaurant is Løjtehus Restaurant and it is only a five minute walk from the hotel.

There is also a delivery restaurant called Milas, where you can order pizzas and hamburgers for example, and they bring the food to the hotel and you pay them directly. We have some Milas menus here at the hotel, so you can ask for one during check-in. They are open every day from 12:00 to 21:30. For additional information only, they have a delivery fee of 49 DKK.

Not super close to the airport but it was still possible to walk if you don't have a lot of luggage, took like 25-30 minutes. The hotel has a new feeling and the rooms were comfortable. Everyone I met in the staff were very nice.
