Holiday Inn London Gatwick Airport is located just a 10-minute drive from Gatwick Airport and is perfect if you're in transit. An airport shuttle service is available and will take you from either the North or the South Terminal to the hotel and back in no time. Parking is available at a daily rate, but it is worth noting this and the airport shuttle are not complimentary, which is a tad disappointing. You can get to London in 30 minutes via the Gatwick Express from the South Terminal. Location is obviously very handy for the airport but unfortunately, there is not much else to look for in the vicinity.

The rooms at the hotel are surprisingly functional and feature flat-screen TVs with Chromecast, work desks, and complimentary Wi-Fi. While the accommodations are generally clean and comfortable, you can't help thinking the design is a bit outdated. Bathrooms are equipped with standard amenities, though certain rooms may show slight wear​.

Dining is flexible with the hotel's Open Lobby concept, allowing you to enjoy meals at the restaurant, grab quick bites from the To Go Café, or opt for room service. A welcome perk is that kids stay and eat free!
