The Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel is located less than a 5-minute taxi ride from the terminals, making it ideal for layovers or early flights. The publicly available "Hotel Hoppa" shuttle is another option to reach the hotel but isn't much cheaper and taxis are quicker and more direct. London is ​about a 30-minute ride away on the Tube.

The hotel features over 700 rooms, many of which offer impressive runway views. Noise can be an issue in runway-view rooms due to the hotel's proximity to the airport, but the soundproofing and limited overnight flights mitigate the disturbance​ (local laws forbid nighttime flights at heartrow between 23:30 and 06:00).

Rooms are modern but compact featuring comfortable twin or double beds, tea and coffee facilities, and fast, complimentary Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are clean but may lack amenities like extra towels or luxury toiletries. Suites offer deluxe bedding​.

Additional perks throughout the hotel include a modern fitness center, currency exchange, and a gift shop.

Dining options include a restaurant serving varied meals, although the pricing may feel steep. The club lounge provides a quieter space with light refreshments. You can experience global dining at Market Garden Restaurant and rich coffee at Cafe Cha.

There is a complimentary breakfast which some have found limited and doesn't start until 6:00 AM - too late for those taking the earliest flights.

This huge hotel has a somewhat dated design but offers a practical base for travelers who don't mind the overwhelming size and the limited in-room amenities.
