Our summary of Sofitel London Heathrow

The Sofitel London Heathrow is conveniently connected to Terminal 5, just a 5-minute walk away through a covered walkway. London's many attractions are only 20 minutes away by train via Piccadilly and Elizabeth lines.

The hotel's rooms have triple-glazed windows ensuring excellent soundproofing - you won't be hearing the airplanes with this level of noise protection. The rooms are well-maintained, featuring plush bedding and rainfall showers, though some design elements feel dated because it was opened in 2008 and hasn't been renovated since. All rooms have the exclusive Sofitel MyBed (most report it's magnificent for sleeping), a mini fridge, and a TV. A notable downside is the lack of bedside power outlets.

Superior rooms have a bath with a shower attachment as well as a separate shower cubicle - something unusual for London hotels these days.

Dining options include five restaurants and bars, ranging from international cuisine at the Vivre restaurant to La Belle Époque - a high-class, sophisticated restaurant. Both are 2 AA Rosette awarded. However, some may find them overly expensive and priced out.
