The Hampton by Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is located in the Hoofddorp suburb and is a walking distance from its train station from where Amsterdam’s historic center is only a 20-minute train journey away. Schiphol Airport is 6 kilometers away but only a 4-minute train journey, so it's safe to say the hotel is pretty well connected and in a great location.
All rooms have air conditioning, soundproofing, LCD TVs, a work desk, and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Bathrooms offer walk-in showers. A pillow menu means you can have your preferred headrest. Guests have praised the beds for their comfort and the rooms for their size.
The hot breakfast buffet is included in all room rates and is of good quality.
The on-site restaurant serves international dishes but is pretty substandard. It's not open on the weekend.
The bar closes early (before 11 PM) but is a nice place to have a few drinks to unwind.
