Hilton London Gatwick Airport is in an unbeatable location that eliminates the need for shuttles. More specifically, the hotel is connected to Gatwick Airport South Terminal via a covered walkway whereas the free 24-hour monorail links it to the North Terminal. It's also less than half a mile from Gatwick Airport Railway Station, from where you can reach London in just over an hour. The hotel is a 20-minute drive to Brighton and Hove.

The offered rooms are standard, family options, and executive suites. Rooms are soundproofed and have blackout curtains for a good night's sleep even at the airport itself. Bathrooms provide both showers and baths - a rare sight in contemporary hotels. Some rooms, particularly in older sections, show signs of wear and could use some modernization. Executive rooms have complimentary access to the exclusive lounge, with free drinks and snacks during evening hours (when it can feel a bit overcrowded) and a quieter breakfast.

The 2 dining venues on-site are The Garden Restaurant, which offers buffets for breakfast and dinner, and Amy's Bar and Costa Coffee for quick bites and European dining. Neither is rated exceptionally high and the value for money is just not there. You can also take advantage of the room service with dishes from around the world. The vegetarian curries are rated very highly.
