Best Western McCarran Inn is conveniently located just 2 miles from the Las Vegas Airport. One of the hotel's biggest perks is the free shuttle service which runs every 30 minutes to and from the airport. You must call to organize though. From the hotel, you can get to the main Strip of casinos in about 10 minutes by taxi or take the monorail. The hotel is also very near the University of Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Convention Center. Parking is available for an additional fee.
Rooms are modern and comfortable, each featuring a flat-screen TV and a coffee maker. Guests report that the rooms were spotless clean but some have complained of them being smaller than the Best Western standards and darker than usual. Some rooms may also get noise coming from the elevator inside or the airplanes taking off and landing outside: something to consider if you're a light sleeper.
