Nirvana Hotel is a five star hotel with luxurious rooms, a garden and free private parking.
The Nirvana Hotel in Las Vegas is a small, boutique hotel on the other side of the Las Vegas Airport. It's set in what looks like a 2-storey motel building and even though it offers more luxury and the charm of being family-run, it's in no way a top-class splendor experience.
It's a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport arrivals. The hotel can organize a transfer but you'll need to arrange that additionally. It's easy to reach the main Casino strip from the Nirvana Hotel. Parking is free and guests do not pay a resort fee.
The rooms are simple, bright and clean. If you're into Eastern spirituality, you'll appreciate the fact that they are decorated using Chakra colors and with the balance of mind and body in mind. There isn't much noise in this area, so the rooms are relatively quiet. All rooms have a cable TV. There is no internet access on the property - a massive downside in the modern day and age.
One of the hotel's strongest appeals is its Zen Garden with a soothing waterfall for a quiet meditation getaway. If anything, it's true to its name Nirvana. The outdoor seating area is a nice escape from the otherwise always busy city.
Another plus in the books is the good breakfast served in the morning directly in your room.
The hotel's restaurant is small and serves a limited menu but the food is fresh and tasty.
The hotel also offers some spa treatments like a hydrotherapy table and massages.
While the location is convenient, the hotel is very simplistic and more suitable for short stays or budget-conscious travelers who don't necessarily need many luxury elements in the hotel. Don't get tricked by the 5-star rating - the Nirvana Hotel is more of a well-run, clean motel than a high-class hotel.
Check-in is available from 15:00 until 20:00. Check-out is required by 11:00.
