Shore Hotel has an excellent location in Santa Monica, just a few hundred meters from Santa Monica Pier. The hotel itself is what you can expect for the price. Nothing special, but really not bad in any way. Nice view from the rooms that have a sea view. Many of them also have a lovely little balcony. In the vicinity, there’s everything from cheap beer joints to seafood restaurants, as well as high-end meat specialists. Santa Monica Boulevard is just a block to the north. Easy for taxis and other rideshares to find the hotel, as well as to stop outside for pick-up and drop-off.

The park in front of Shore Hotel is called Palisades Park and is the small section located between Pacific Coast Highway and Ocean Avenue. Perfect for a morning walk for early-rising hotel guests.
