Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott is located less than a mile from Terminal 2 of the Newark Airport. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from all the airport terminals which runs every 15 minutes. Downtown Manhattan is around a 25-minute drive by taxi. On-site parking and valet services come at an additional fee.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, well insulated against the sounds of the airplanes taking off and landing, although the same cannot be said for sound coming from adjacent rooms. All rooms also feature plush bedding, marble bathrooms, a work desk, and full-wall windows with views towards the airport. The standard expected flat-screen TVs, coffee makers, and high-speed Wi-Fi are also inside all rooms.
Two on-site restaurants serve hotel guests: the Aviation Grill is a casual eatery with a menu of American classics, whereas the Greatroom Bar is a chill bar for cocktails and small bites. Room service is available around the clock too.
Breakfast is served at a pretty late hour for an airport hotel - 6 AM. It's not included in most room rates and frankly, the guest consensus is that it's usually not worth it to add.
There is a 24/7 gym - not spectacular and a bit rundown but good enough for a quick workout.
The 51 meeting rooms are fitted with modern technology so any event can run smoothly.

This hotel had a great location, both easy to get to the airport and to the city center. There was an airport shuttle which had departures every 15 minutes. The staff at the hotel were very nice and welcoming and the room I was assigned was comfortable with everything I needed.
