YOTELAIR Amsterdam Schiphol is located in Lounge 2 on the airside of the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport terminal. If you're just landing, do not go through security. If you're staying at the hotel before your flight though, you will need to check in for your flight, drop off your bags, pass Immigration, and then enter the hotel. The hotel is thus just minutes from any departure gate (except Gate M) and very convenient for layover flights.
The hotel is very compact and offers small cabins suitable for solo travelers or couples. The cabins use the limited space so effectively that you will still have everything necessary: motorized beds that transform into seating, smart TVs, and rain showers in ensuite bathrooms. The design is minimalistic but also futuristic. The cabins include adjustable lighting and air-conditioning, though the controls may be a bit confusing. Noise insulation is generally good, despite the surrounding airport environment​.
There’s no restaurant in the traditional sense, however, the hotel offers room service for a selection of fast-food meals like pizza and noodles, quick snacks, various drinks, and even ice cream for dessert. You can also easily get to the restaurants on the airside part of Schiphol Airport. You can pay additionally to arrange for a continental breakfast in the morning.
The reception, thematically called "Mission Control", is at your service 24/7.
Yotelair Hotel's main drawback is the high price, especially given the limited space. This is somewhat expected given its superb location inside the airport, so if you have a long layover, the direct access to airport terminals may be worth the price.

Please note that our hotel does not have allocated parking space in the airport area. Please use the public parking available for a long stay.

Where is your hotel located in relation to the airport?
Yotelair Amsterdam Schiphol is located in the international transit area (airside) of Terminal 2 (Lounge 2) where only hand-luggage is permitted. If you are in the public landside area, you will need your boarding pass for a flight that leaves within 24-hours and your Yotelair confirmation in order to go through security and passport control. If you are already inside the international transit area and have no luggage to collect, you may walk directly to the hotel and can stay more than 24-hours. Please note that only gate M is not accessible from our hotel.

This was a very convenient choice when just passing by on a short layover. The location inside the airport is perfect, and even if I think it was a little pricey it was worth it in the end to be relaxed before my flight. The bed was comfortable.
