Highly rated hotel offering spacious, soundproofed rooms together with a spa and health club.
The Holiday Inn Berlin Airport - Conference Centre is about 9 km from terminals 1 and 2 of the airport. It's not as close as some descriptions or even the map may lead you to believe as it's near terminal 5, which doesn't have many commercial flights. It's hard to reach by public transport and you will need a shuttle or a taxi, but if you have this sorted, the location is alright.
The hotel has both rooms and suites, each equipped with air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi. The TV isn't smart and only has basic channels. There is no fridge in the room and only basic toiletries. If you're willing to overlook these 2 small drawbacks, the rooms are well-sized, clean and comfortable.
The on-site restaurant serves a delicious breakfast every morning, which is usually not included in the room rate but worth adding. For lunch and dinner, the restaurant is open once again with Mediterranean cuisine and a selection of wines. The To Go Café offers coffee and check out the Wundermart-Shop in the lobby for snacks and cold drinks, both open around the clock. In the summer, the sunny patio is open for an even more pleasant dinner.
On the top floor are the sauna, steam bath, and gym. They may not be the biggest and most equipped but are good enough for an hour of relaxation.
The hotel is one of the largest conference centers in Brandenburg. Any events and conferences can be organized in its extensive meeting facilities.
In summary, the Holiday Inn Berlin Airport is a well-kept and efficient hotel in a mediocre location but impeccable service once inside.
Check-in is available from 14:00 and check-out is required by 12:00.
