Romantic hotel with beautiful view over Trollhättan and the waterfall area.The building is from the mid-1800s with all that it entails. I read before we booked a stay that it would be a modern hotel, and neoclassicism is, in my opinion, anything but modern.Good food and a nice romantic atmosphere, but you should like old things as it feels like time has stood still for 200 years. Easy to take the stairs down from Strömslund and walk into Trollhättan's city center. However, it’s not as pleasant going back uphill. :)A nice and affordable hotel for a business meeting or a romantic weekend getaway or weekend trip.
