Hotel Chesscom is located about 14 km from the airport towards Budapest. This means it's in a convenient location but cannot really be considered a proper airport hotel. It's also just a short distance from the metro and train station so connections are rather easy. After midnight, the night bus from the city center also stops opposite the Chesscom hotel. The hotel provides free on-site parking.

You can choose between various rooms and levels of luxury, although all rooms come with air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a mini fridge. The bathroom is a bit small, but clean and with soft towels provided. The decor is straightforward but you can safely say that the standard of the rooms is above average.

Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 10:30 AM. It doesn't offer a huge variety but the menu is tasty. For other dining, the surrounding area offers plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities. The nearest restaurant is just around the corner.

No wellness facilities on the premises but just 150 meters away you can find Kispest Bath with a wonderful sauna and swimming pool.

Where is the best place to park the car?

We kindly inform you that we have a parking lot which is available for our guests free of charge. Upon arrival we ask for the licence plate number to register the car.

What kind of breakfast is served and where in the hotel is it available?

We serve buffet breakfast every day from 7:00 to 10:30. The breakfast room is in the hotel building close to the reception. In the menu you can find different kinds of hot and cold dishes, fruits, drinks etc. In case your departure is earlier than 7:00, we can prepare take away breakfast for you too.

What is the cost of the airport shuttle and how often does it depart?

We do not offer shuttle service to the airport. MiniBUD is the official partner of the airport, you can arrange for yourself shuttle service on their website (https://minibud.hu). At the reception we can order a taxi for you by the time you request it, it takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the airport from our hotel.

We can also suggest the public transport to the airport, 200E bus runs 24/7 to the airport and the end station of the bus is a few minutes walk away from our hotel (Kőbánya-Kispest M station).

We need to eat in the evening, are there any good restaurants nearby?

There are a few restaurants we can suggest to you nearby. Right next to our place there is a Hungarian/Transilvanian restaurant called Bujdosó Székely. If you go a bit further you can find Gulliver restaurant and Laguna restaurant. There is a shopping mall a few minutes walk away, they also have a food court with a few places to eat.

A great thing about this hotel was the staff, they were so nice and helpful during my stay. I had a flight pretty early in the morning and it was easy to get to the airport with the shuttle. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. I also liked that everything was so well maintained around the hotel.
