The building is a historical heritage on its own. It was originally designed by modernist architect Palle Suenson in the 1950s and rejuvenated multiple times retaining its signature pure forms, straight lines, and flat roofs. It may look like a hangar from the outside but it does pack a punch on the inside with elegance and luxury combined.
The hotel offers a choice between 394 tastefully stylish rooms and suites, many of which have stunning harbor views. The floor-to-ceiling windows on higher floors are almost surreal and worth the higher price tag. In all rooms, you will find Nespresso machines, free high-speed Wi-Fi, a deposit box, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a shower.
The on-site restaurant has a limited menu of International options in a chic setting. Foreign visitors may find it underwhelming for the lack of choice but the quality of food is great anyhow. The hotel's bar is fantastic and a very pleasant area to sit in. Additionally, the rooftop bar is a special treat for anyone who loves high views.
The breakfast is fabulous and a highlight for most stays. It's a bit expensive but truly amazing.
