Next House Copenhagen is a luxury hostel situated just a short walk from Copenhagen Central Station, super close to Tivoli Gardens and the Strøget shopping street. It's near many public transportation links and within walking distance of most landmarks in the city. The airport is a 20-minute metro ride away.

The hostel has mainly dormitory rooms but also a few private double and twin rooms. With a whopping 1666 beds, it is one of Europe's largest hostels. The rooms and dorms are modern and sleek, and beds are comfortable and have privacy curtains or blinds. Some dorms have private bathrooms, while others share bathroom facilities for the floor. Strong free wifi throughout the property. There are both mixed dorms and female-only dorms.

What makes this a great hostel is its multiple extra amenities, including two rooftop terraces, an indoor stadium for various sports, and a magnificent, fully-equipped gym.

There is an on-site restaurant for simple dining. Try to be there for pizza night! There are also four different bars for socializing and weekly events. The communal atmosphere is continued at the sun deck and the garden - both super hip.

All of those extra perks come at an extra entrance fee for each - a major drawback for the budget traveler who may be misled by the extremely low price for the beds.

Next House Copenhagen is as if a hostel was equipped and run like a hotel. It very much deserves its classification as a luxury hostel with a great social atmosphere.
