Danhostel Copenhagen City & Apartments is one of the largest hostels in Europe with its 192 rooms and 5 hotel apartments spread over 17 floors for a total of up to 1,040 guests. It's situated right beside the Langebro Bridge and within walking distance of Tivoli Gardens, City Hall Square, and Strøget - the famous shopping street. Public transport links are plentiful around the hostel. Parking is, surprisingly, free, although it's not directly at the property and you will need to travel a bit more to reach it.
Room options range from private ones to shared dormitories, all with private bathrooms. For a more luxurious stay, choose the apartments on the 17th floor and enjoy the awesome views of the city. Even rooms on lower floors have wonderful views and big windows. The dorms are extremely minimalistic but somehow remain stylish and comfortable.
The on-site café and bar, BAR50 is a contemporary venue for all sorts of drinks. Additionally, there are communal areas for relaxation and socialization - a must-have for any hostel.
The hostel is very close to the Harbour Bath at Islands Brygge if you'd like a refreshing swim.
For a full breakfast, you will need to pay extra, but you can also have just coffee and croissants to go. The breakfast hall can get crowded at peak times.
