The hotel is a marvelous urban sanctuary with hints of a tropical paradise for its fusion of Nordic and Balinese-inspired décor. It's a stone's throw from many city attractions like the Copenhagen lakes, Tivoli Gardens, and Torvehallernes gourmet food market. The airport is about 10 km away. Take advantage of the complimentary bicycle rentals to explore the city like the locals.
The hotel rooms are designed with a focus on natural materials and organic textiles for a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are big, and bright and receive praise for their layout. All rooms have the standard necessities and luxuries you would expect from a 5-star hotel.
However, the true centerpiece of Manon Les Suites is its iconic indoor pool, sometimes called "The Junglefish Pool" and sometimes compared to the ambiance one would find in private Balinese resorts. It's surrounded by lush greenery and creates a feeling of being lost in a tropical paradise island. One issue is that this exquisite facility is understandably very popular and can get crowded during peak hours.
The sauna and steam room are fabulous too with the only minor issue being that they are not on the same floor as the pool. Everything is gorgeous and really pushes the limits of what luxury means.
The on-site Chapung Restaurant serves an Asian fusion menu but frankly, the highlight is again the location on the rooftop and the amazing ambiance.
Manon Les Suites's unique design, exceptional service, and tranquil, tropical resort-like feeling means it deserves its reputation as Copenhagen's most unique luxury retreat.
