The Barcelona Airport Mi Colibrí is the perfect budget option for weary travelers. It's situated in the center of the town nearest to the airport - El Prat and walking distance from the nearest metro station.
The rooms were recently renovated, very clean, and have all the necessary facilities such as a flat-screen satellite TV, an air conditioner, a washing machine, and a coffee maker. It's more like an apartment as every room also has a small kitchen attached.
The bathroom is shared though. However, cleanliness is maintained throughout the day. The bathrooms offer a separate toilet and a shower. Additionally, you'll find hair dryers and big towels.
The host is really kind and responsive. He will send you detailed instructions for how to enter the apartment even late at night. A key lockbox with a code allows for very late self-check-in.
You can prepare yourself some breakfast in the morning in the kitchen with a toaster, a microwave, a coffee machine, and a large fridge.
A tapas bar as well as various restaurants are within walking distance from the property. The whole neighborhood is quiet, pleasant, and safe, however, the street in front is busy and may be noisy in peak hours. Closing the window provides the necessary noise protection.
The WiFi is fast and strong enough to reach all rooms within the guesthouse.
