A fine boutique hotel with good location in the heart of Silom. It offers modern rooms and suites with great amenities. Many business travelers choose this hotel because it has a friendly staff and a peaceful, quiet location. The hotel's rooms have balconies with nice views, a seating area and well-equipped kitchenette.
FuramaXclusive Asoke is located in the Asoke district, a part of the Silom, known as a modern business district of Bangkok. The hotel is a 2-minute walk from the Sukhumvit MRT station and about 5 from the Asoke station on the Sukhumvit Line so reaching other places in the city is easy enough. Benchakitti Park is a 15-minute stroll away. This location is not the best if you want to explore the old parts of Bangkok but suitable if you want to be close to the malls of Siam and the trendy Sukhumvit area.
The hotel rooms have strong wifi and large windows letting in lots of natural light. Each room has a flat-screen TV, a minibar, and a private bathroom with a bathtub. The rooms are generally pretty big and clean but feel a bit aged and outdated compared to similar hotels nearby. Rooms on higher floors also have private balconies.
On the rooftop is a lounging area with a good view. The pool is a joke though - barely big enough for kids, let alone adults. Also on the rooftop, you can use the gym - also quite small, with limited machines available, and no AC inside.
The on-site M3 Restaurant serves tasty Thai meals and is conveniently near the lobby. Breakfast is so-so as choices are limited.
All in all, FuramaXclusive Asoke makes for an adequate base in one of Bangkok's famous business districts but falls short of providing a very high standard of amenities. Nonetheless, at this price, it remains a solid value for money.
