Park Plaza Sukhumvit Bangkok is a contemporary hotel situated halfway between Asoke BTS Skytrain station and Benchakitti Park (about a 5-minute walk from either) in the Sukhumvit district of Bangkok. The Sukhumvit Station of the BTS is also near, just 8 minutes on foot. The popular Terminal 21 shopping mall is also within easy reach, whereas other big malls in Siam are about a 10-minute taxi ride away (also reachable by the Skytrain).

The hotel rooms are comfortable, large, and have everything you need. Each room is equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and clean, private bathrooms. Some rooms are a bit dated and show signs of needing paint touchups and refinish here and there. The furniture is old and a bit worn. Nonetheless, the rooms remain in an acceptable condition. Ask for a higher-floor room if you're sensitive to noise and request a corner room for an even more spacious room.

The rooftop swimming pool is a lovely amenity and together with the sundeck offers spectacular views of the city with a place to relax. The fitness center is open 24/7 but quite small and not too well-equipped.

The CO2 restaurant is open all day for casual dining with Thai or Mediterranean meals. Nothing too special but the food is tasty. The breakfast is fairly varied and great by most guests' standards although it lacks options for vegetarians and halal.

Park Plaza Sukhumvit Bangkok is a good hotel with an above-average breakfast and a nice rooftop pool area. There is more to ask for from it, especially when it comes to the rooms, but overall it is a convenient choice.
