Travelodge Sukhumvit 11 is a 4-star hotel located about the same distance from both the BTS Nana Skytrain Station and the Phetchaburi MRT station. It would take you about 10 minutes on foot to reach either. Another transport link some overlook is the river ferry with the Nana Chard pier located just 8 minutes on foot. Arab Street, a popular thoroughfare famous for nightlife, is only a 10-minute walk. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way from central Bangkok but with so many transport links, you're not actually that detached.
There are 224 air-conditioned rooms at the hotel with a somewhat contemporary decor. All rooms include a safety deposit box, a work desk, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and access to free wifi. The en-suite bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers and free toiletries. You receive complimentary bottled water and ingredients for the coffee and tea maker. In general, the hotel gets everything about the rooms' layout and amenities right - perfect spaces to relax. A small drawback though is the thin walls which mean noise can occasionally be an issue - though the immediate area of the hotel is relatively quiet.
The rooftop swimming pool and bar are delightful - you must spend at least an afternoon there to enjoy the panoramic city views.
There is also a gym, good enough for casual holiday use.
The hotel also has a restaurant with outdoor seating available. The breakfast served there is very good with a lot of variety.
In summary, Travelodge Sukhumvit 11 is a perfect option in a communicative location. You shouldn't expect the utmost luxury, but for this price tag, it's a magnificent value for money.
