The hotel is family-run and housed in a restored 18th-century Venetian residence. It is close to the Church of San Zaccaria and walking distance from Ponte Rialto. It's less than 200 meters away from a Vaporetto (water bus) stop on the Grand Canal.
Rooms at the hotel are compact but spotless. There is both heating and AC and you can adjust the temperature yourself, ensuring maximum comfort no matter the month you visit. Bathrooms are well-equipped, some even have a bathtub. Some rooms have balconies with pretty views of the city or the nearby church. The wifi is strong throughout the hotel and you will have no problems working inside the room. The rooms don't have fridges or kettles but otherwise, the equipment is modern. The furniture is high-quality and well-kept with the beds receiving high marks on size and comfort.
There is an elevator in the hotel, which is quite uncommon for a Venetian hotel.
In the morning, you can enjoy a delightful European-style breakfast which is usually not included in the price. It can use some extra choices added but in general is a good value for money.
