Albergo Casa Peron is a small, family-run inn-like hotel located in Venice's Santa Croce district. The hotel is 5 minutes on foot away from the Grand Canal, less than 20 minutes from Ponte Rialto, and around 20 minutes from Piazza San Marco if you use the Traghetto to cross the Canal. It's also a 15-minute walk from Venezia Santa Lucia Train Station and 450 meters from the nearest Vaporetto (water bus) stop. The surrounding area is lively and full of shops and restaurants but not overly noisy.

The hotel's rooms are all equipped with air conditioning, minibars, refrigerators, and free wifi, which is unfortunately pretty slow and unreliable. For smokers, there are rooms with a small terrace, although you don't need to be a smoker to request a room with one. Some rooms have a private bathroom while others have a shared bathroom. The rooms are generally small and simple but clean and pleasantly warm. The rooms aren't soundproofed and the furniture is a bit tired, though both are somewhat standard for Venetian inns.
