Hotel Belle Arti is located in Venice's Dorsoduro district directly opposite the Accademia di Belle Arti, hence its name. The hotel is also close to the Accademia Bridge and about a 20-minute walk from Piazza San Marco. A Vaporetto (water bus) stops near the hotel, and you can easily get to any other location in the city.

The hotel offers 65 air-conditioned rooms, each adorned with Murano glass chandeliers and baroque décor in a classical Venetian style. Rooms, after the high season is over, may get too hot on a warm autumn day due to city regulations concerning the limited use of AC. The rooms are rather small but comfortable and clean. All rooms have soundproofed windows, satellite TVs, safety boxes, and smoke detectors, but no fridge or a kettle. The wifi is strong on the first 2 floors but gets poor quickly above that.

Breakfast is complimentary and of reasonable variety. The coffee leaves a lot to be desired. The breakfast room is small and can feel crowded at peak morning times, but on warmer days, you can enjoy it outside in the hotel's beautiful garden area.

Hotel Belle Arti has been renovated recently and the rooms are clean and fresh, albeit slightly old-fashioned. In general, it's a solid mid-range hotel with all the basics covered.
