Siamaze Hostel is a social hostel situated in a quieter part of the city, close to Sutthisan MRT station. The location is a bit away from the main tourist attractions and not the best for first-timers or if you want to explore Bangkok every day as you'll have to commute extra.

The hostel dormitories, private rooms, and a family room. There is a women-only dorm and a mixed dorm. The private rooms are well-maintained and comfortable, with plenty of space to not feel cramped. The beds in the dorms have privacy curtains, individual plugs, and lights. Some of the rooms can feel a bit dark because the windows are not too large: this can either be a plus or a drawback depending on your preferences. In general, the hostel is well-maintained and clean all around.

The best thing about Siamaze is the communal atmosphere. The hostel encourages social interaction among guests through various events and a lovely and inviting common area. The hostel offers BBQ nights every Sunday. It's the dream of every solo bag packer who's out to meet new people.

The DIY breakfast is unique: you can prepare your own meal from a fully stocked array of options including not only toast but also eggs and fried rice.

The availability of laundry facilities is appreciated by all backpackers and regular travelers alike.

Siamaze Hostel is a social hostel but isn't near Khao San Road and that's its main selling point - while the location is a bit far from the action, the hostel provides a comfortable, and socially engaging environment for travelers.
