Three star hostel with several popular points of interest in the surrounding area.
Greenery Hostel is located in the Ratchathewi district, not too far from the Phaya Thai station on the Red Line of Bangkok's MRT. The hotel is about 3 kilometers from the big shopping malls of the Siam area but a couple of public buses or a taxi can take you there in no time. Ratchathewi Station of the Skytrain is 12 minutes on foot away. The location is not on the main road but tucked away among the small residential streets, so noise is of little concern.
This is a small hostel of only 21 rooms. The rooms are air-conditioned and include a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and a private bathroom with a shower and complimentary toiletries. Deluxe rooms also offer a cozy seating area for more space and comfort. Most rooms don't have windows, which may be a concern to some but are generally very well-equipped, cozy, and clean.
A highlight of the hostel is its lush garden with occasional wildlife (birds and squirrels) passing through, creating a lovely, cute area to relax or socialize.
There is also a huge communal area equipped with all the appliances necessary to prepare food and plenty of plates, bowls, and cutlery. However, the hostel does not serve breakfast. Worry not - there are coffee and pastry shops and street food vendors around the hostel.
Common areas are well maintained by staff at all times throughout the day.
Greenery Hostel makes for a very pleasant stay in a quiet area that's not too far from the places you'd want to be in Bangkok. The high degree of cleanliness and how tidy everything at the hostel is stand out and the hostel deservedly receives high marks for comfort and convenience.
Check-in is available from 14:00 and check-out is required by 12:00.
