Locanda Ai Santi Apostoli is a boutique hotel situated on the third floor of Palazzo Michiel dal Brusà, a Venetian Gothic building from the 1700s. It's just a 6-minute walk from Ponte di Rialto and about a 15-minute walk from Piazza San Marco. The central hall of the hotel directly overlooks the Grand Canal, while authentic markets below sell fruit and vegetables, and present a colorful organization of flowers. A Vaporetto stops just 200 meters away.

The hotel rooms are elegantly furnished with a very cozy and sweet interior. The rooms are large for Venice, with sofas, tables, chairs, and desks. There are bathtubs in the bathrooms. There is an elevator at the hotel. The bad sides are that the wifi is quite poor, the AC often struggles to keep the room cool and reception is not open 24/7 so if you have any issues during night hours, you have to wait for the morning.

The breakfast is a decent size and offers plenty of variation. You can choose your meal from a menu the night before. Best of all, the hotel's dining area, where it's served, offers spectacular views of the Grand Canal as if from a postcard - an awesome start of the day for sure.

Overall, Locanda Ai Santi Apostoli is an awesome choice, albeit a bit old-fashioned. Despite the small inconveniences that many Venetian hotels also suffer from, it is still a solid hotel in an awesome location.
