Carnival Palace - Venice Collection is a brand-new boutique hotel situated along the Cannaregio Canal in Venice. It's located near the Tre Archi Vaporetto water bus stop. From the airport, you can reach it by taking the Orange Line of the Alilaguna boat service and getting off at the Guglie stop. The hotel is not in the main tourist area of Venice and thus is a bit quieter than similar other options. It's a 25-minute walk from the Rialto Bridge and 35 to Piazza San Marco.
The hotel has 67 contemporary rooms with some traditional Venetian elements. Rooms are soundproof and have an advanced AC system. All rooms also have a TV, a minibar, a kettle, and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. The wifi, albeit free, is not the strongest and may result in some frustration. The hardwood floors create a cozy feeling. Select rooms offer views of the Cannaregio Canal. The rooms are very large for Venice and elegantly appointed.
The hotel has a private garden - a lovely place to enjoy the sun during warmer days. In the summer, breakfast is served here. Otherwise, it's in the hotel's dining area. The breakfast buffet is great, tasty, and offers a variety of choices.
The lobby bar is charming and a nice place for a few drinks after sunset.
Carnival Palace is an awesome hotel if you're looking for a new hotel that isn't necessarily something historic. While your experience will not be the most authentic, it will certainly be very comfortable, and the service - high quality.
