Pod 51 Hotel is located in Manhattan's Midtown East neighborhood a few minutes away from the Chrysler Building and Grand Central Terminal. This is the first hotel in the Pod Hotels collection and has set the standard for budget-friendly stays in New York City.

The hotel is designed with a minimalist décor to maximize space and functionality. The rooms, called pods, are tiny and a little basic but arranged so that you have everything necessary, especially if traveling on a budget in Manhattan. All pods have free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and climate control. Most pods have en-suite bathrooms with a sink inside the room but there are also bunk bed options with a shared bathroom.

Pod 51 offers several communal spaces for relaxation and socialization. The rooftop deck is very laid back with its loungers, beds, and a seating area and provides panoramic views of New York's skyline. Additionally, the hotel's courtyard and patio with a cafe near the hotel's entrance are another lovely place to relax or do light work.

Dining-wise, there are many restaurants around the hotel but none on-site. There is a bar though, called Clinton Hall, for beers and other drinks.

Pod 51 Hotel is affordable and conveniently located. If you need a room for a short stay and don’t need something fancy, then it makes for a great choice and an awesome value for money in Manhattan.
