Family hotel with classically furnished rooms. There is a cozy, furnished garden which tends to be highly appreciated by families with children. Easy walking distance to the San Tomà ferry stop and the Santa Lucia railway station. Close to Rialto Bridge area with it’s many shops and museums.

Hotel Tivoli is a charming family-run hotel located in the Dorsoduro district of Venice. It's within walking distance of most attractions, including Ponte di Rialto (15 minutes), Piazza San Marco (17 minutes including a short ferry crossing), and the Gallerie dell’Accademia (10 minutes). From Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia Railway Station, the easiest way to get to the hotel is also to walk around 9 minutes. Using a Vaporetto (water bus) you can get to any other point within Venice with the closest stop being at San Tomà .
The hotel rooms are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, and direct dial telephone. Most rooms have private bathrooms, but some share facilities for their floors. The rooms themselves are immaculate, clean, and very comfortable, despite the small size, typical for historic Venetian accommodations. The bathrooms, likewise, are a bit tight and the showers may be awkward to use if you're large yourself.
The complimentary buffet breakfast is an awesome start to the day, especially during summertime when you have the option of dining in the garden. It's a typical self-serve Italian buffet with plenty of delicious options.
The peaceful courtyard with its trees and greenery is an awesome place to relax after a day of exploring the streets and canals.
A small downside is that the reception closes at 21:30 after which you need to wait until the morning for any questions or issues. However, you do get efficient and accurate check-in instructions if arriving at the hotel later than that.
Hotel Tivoli can easily make you feel like you're at home but in old-time Venice. It's a good value for money and promises a lovely stay.
