Roof View Place is located in Bangkok's historic district, in a peaceful residential area called Ban Phan Thom, known for its preserved old-time architecture. The hotel is 12 minutes on foot away from Khao San Road, the famous backpacker and party street. The nearest ferry pier is Rama VIII Bridge from where you can take a public boat to many other areas of interest around the city. Alternatively, public buses stop near the hotel and connect to stations of the MRT and the Skytrain.

The hotel features 30 air-conditioned rooms, each also equipped with a fan. Inside the rooms, you can find a fridge, a TV, and a private balcony, and you're free to use the wifi. From a design standpoint, the rooms are basic but have everything necessary for a comfortable stay. There is no elevator inside the building, though staying in one of the higher-floor rooms is worth it for the view of the Golden Pagoda and the city.
