Ayathorn Bangkok is located in the Old Town of Bangkok, near Wat Saket (also known as the Golden Mount). The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Khao San Road. The location is good enough if want to explore the historic and cultural parts of Bangkok and don't need to be super close to the modern parts or the shopping malls. It's not near stations of the MRT mass transit though a few public buses stop nearby. The Panfa Leelard river pier is 5 minutes on foot away - the quickest way to reach Siam and Sukhumvit.

The hotel is on the smaller side, with just 33 rooms, but that adds to its intimate and boutique vibe. The rooms are large, the comfort that the beds deliver is very high, and the rooms are immaculately clean, so a relaxing stay is guaranteed. All rooms have air-conditioning, a desk, a kettle, a minibar, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a bidet. Many of the rooms have pretty views of the canal.

The rooftop pool is amazing - a wonderful and quiet area to unwind while enjoying views of the city. It's not a big area but given the few rooms, it rarely gets crowded.

There's also a fitness center with high-quality weights and a strong AC.

Breakfast gets a lot of praise too - freshly made eggs and a variety of other options. It's a bit pricey compared to local options outside though.

Ayathorn Bangkok is a fantastic choice with a boutique feel: a modern, cozy vibe, with a location right in the charming historic parts of Bangkok.
